REHAU Polytec 50
REHAU-Polytec curtain walling system combined the economics of polymer materials with the advantages of conventional transom/mullion construction, with the same profile acting as both transom and mullion helping to eliminate wastage.REHAU-Polytec is available in white and a vast range of RAL colours.
The frame achieves a coefficient of heat transmission of UR_<1.5W/m2K.
Mechanics
REHAU PVC-u is classified as high impact resistant when tested in accordance with BS 7413. It maintains it excellent impact resistance between -40 degrees and +40 degrees.
Durability
REHAU PVC-u's special formulation for external use gives excellent resistance to weathering and ageing. Many installations on the continents have been in use for over 25 years without deterioration.
Fire
REHAU PVC-u is difficult to ignite and will self-extinguish when the source of heat is removed.
Chemical
REHAU PVC-u is resitant to atmoshperic pollution and a range of acids and alkalis. The steel profiles, including the relevant fixings, should be galvanised in accordance to DIN 55928.
- REHAU PVC-u profile only requires a wipe every six months with a damp cloth to maintain its appearance. Moving parts wil normally require lubrication in line with the manufacturer's recommendations.
