RAUKANTEX laser edge

Pure polymer for seamless edges.

The new generation of edging materials from REHAU come with a functional polymer layer on the reverse side of the edge which is welded directly on to the board with a proprietary laser technology. This means zero adhesives, zero gaps for a perfect joint.

REHAU unequivocally meets the latest seamless design requirements with its innovative RAUKANTEX laser edge, a new generation of edging materials applied to boards via a laser welding process.

Laser welding replaces the standard adhesive applicator in the production line is with a highly efficient laser. This melts the lower layer of the co-extruded RAUKANTEX laser edge thereby producing a seamless bond between the edgeband and board.

The innovative RAUKANTEX laser edge line combines maximum functionality with a high-quality look that raises the benchmark in terms of quality and design.
