RAUKANTEX guillotine

for exact butt joint cutting

New edgeband materials with aluminium tops or inserts are also processed with hand held edgebanding machines. However, this technique is limited and therefore REHAU application engineers have developed and patented a guillotine that facilitates the precision cutting of butt jointed edgebands.

In the furniture industry, a hand held bonding device is frequently used for edgebanding on free shapes. This device is used for bonding thermoplastics edgebands to chipboard or worktops, e.g. where a single strip of edgeband is butt jointed to the entire perimeter of a bistro table.
